Terbang ke Korea Selatan Bahagian 2

Salam,

Good morning all!

I've done my laundry, went to pasar and bought fish, sayur, and bawang, mopped the entire house, and now I'm just chilling while sipping my coffee. As my age increased (refusing to say older, haha), I noticed that coffee helped to boost my focus and increase my productivity. It also helped me to be more energetic if I take coffee before my gym session. Anyway, I had some time to spare so let's continue with my travelogue. Those who haven't read Part 1, please click here.

Though I am so tempted to open all the online shopping website because today is mycybersale day but I am in saving mode for my next trip. As written by Wani Ardy in her Langit Vanilla book, "kau manusia, kau tak boleh ada semua".

Six of us have booked different flight for this trip. Hannah and Bella went a day before me. Atheerah and I were in the same flight. The rest came later in the evening.

Six of us! Picture was taken at Nami Island.
The 6 hours flight went by so fast cause I am so excited for this trip. I sat on the seat nearest to the aisle and planned to sleep the whole journey. But my seat neighbor kept waking me up so that she can use the WC. A bit grumpy because of that but soon as we landed, we are greeted by this welcome sign and immediately my mood lifted up.

Quicky we went through immigration, and off we go to find train to go meet Hannah and Bella at our AirBnb. Before that, we walked everywhere in the airport to find where to buy T-Money card. We finally found it next to the train counter. It cost KRW 4000 and we reloaded KRW 30,000. T-money is card used for public transport in South Korea, some sort of equivalent to the Touch 'n Go card in Malaysia.

Then we hopped the Airport Railroad Express Train (AREX) non-stop train that took ~40 minutes to arrive at Gongdeok station before changing the train towards Noksapyeong station at Line 6.

From the train station we walked towards our airbnb which a bit challenging with all our luggage. The terrain was hilly and we were a bit lost and walked extra distance because of it haha.

Rested a bit before we went out to Ewha Womans University fashion street.

Dah sempat shopping dan beli coffee sebelum bergambar.

Cherry Blossom Latte. Sedap yang teramat. Setiap kali jumpa Starbuck beli ni. Cost KRW 6700.

Famous place to take picture at Ewha Women University

Di perkarangan Ewha Women University.

Sempat pilih2 jaket. Cantik sangat. Salesgirl dia pulak mesra. Boleh bargain ye guys. Dapat dalam KRW 42,000. Dah beli kat sini pastu dok pakai jaket tu je for the next days hahaha.

Sepanjang street dekat Ehwa University ni, banyak kedai2 baju comel2, kedai skincare dan kosmetik. Terbeli jugaklah seketul dua. Quite cheap sebab tax free. So jangan lupa tunjuk passport kat diorang. Pastu dapat banyak free gift macam mask, headband, handcreams, BB cushion dan macam2 lagi. Kalau iman tak kuat, hari pertama lagi duit dah habis hahaha.

Dah puas cuci mata kat sini, pergi Ihwa Mural Village pulak. Dari Hyehwa Station jalan je nak pergi sini. Ada signboard. Agak2 lost tu boleh la bukak google maps hahaha.

Berebut sikit nak ambik gambar kat sini sebab ramai tourist lain and ni macam kat simpang so kena beware sikit dengan kereta. Beg shopping tu tak sempat letak tepi sebab nak ambik gambar cepat cepat.

Kat sini memang kena panjat tangga banyak so pakai kasut bersesuaian. My fav is Skechers. Dah bawak merata and my daily shoes jugak. Sangat selesa.

One of the first cherry blossom tree we saw here. Cantik yang teramat.

Memang banyak sangat gambar kat sini hahhaa. Maaflah jadi panjang sangat dah post ni sebab gambar. Tapi hari masih cerah dan kami sambung berjalan pergi Dongdaemun pulak. Macam jalan je pergi Dongdaemun ni dari Uhwa Mural Village. Eh ke tak? Alamak tak ingat hahaha.

At Dongdaemun, we went to Dongdaemun Market, sempat beli kimchi pancake, sedap gilaaaa! And then we walked towards Cheonggyecheon Stream and then dinner at grilled fish shop. It was nice and delicious but unfortunately I didn't have picture there. Dah pancit berjalan, tak larat nak ambik gambar. Sekarang menyesal hahaha.

Lepas dinner, balik dan baru perasan ada rooftop dekat airbnb. Boleh nampak Namsan Tower dari sini. Mandi2 pastu tidur.

Namsan Tower view from our rooftop. View dari jauh je sebab tak sempat nak pergi.
Sekian Day 1 of this trip. Tak sangka panjang gila hahaha. Dekat 4 jam jugak taip dan edit gambar. So, Day 2 akan dipost dalam bahagian 3 lah. Nak pergi keluar jap sebab lupa nak tukar duit untuk trip seterusnya.

Till next post!
